A Private Development Matching Funds Partnership with CHKD will bring public art to a new 14 story $224 million building on the CHKD Norfolk campus scheduled to open in 2022.

$31 million will be designated to annual programming to include 414 new staff & 16 new child psychiatrists. Specific areas for art, music, movement & integrated therapies will be designated.

The facility will also provide outpatient therapy & a “partial hospitalization” program to bring intensive care to children who will spend most of the day at the hospital, but still reside at home.
