2020 Art Crawl
Saturday, October 10th – Norfolk Artists
Sunday, October 11th – Virginia Beach Artists and surrounding
10am – 5pm each day
The Chesapeake Bay Art Association 2020 Art Crawl on October 10 (Norfolk) and 11 (Virginia Beach) will give visitors a chance to peek inside some creative spaces, and to view some wonderful fine arts and crafts in outside spaces on tables and in tents. This free, self-guided driving tour in Hampton Roads will cover Norfolk and Virginia Beach with plenty of room to grow in the coming years. “After six months of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our artists are chomping at the bit to show what we’ve accomplished during this trying time.” said CBAA President and organizer, Vivian Davis. “Patrons will have an opportunity to buy original artwork and handmade creations in a variety of media. And we are committed to doing this in a safe way, consistent with current health guidelines.”
Saturday, October 10 – Our Norfolk tour is numbered starting in the creativity-filled bay beach neighborhoods of East Beach and Ocean View and winds around some of the suburbs north of the NEON District including some city spaces and art centers.
Sunday, October 11 – Our Virginia Beach tour is numbered starting east of Chic’s Beach by the bay and down into the heart of Virginia Beach, close to Chesapeake, and then north to an easy ride out to the oceanfront.
Maps with location numbers and an Artist index will be available after September 15th by visiting chesapeakebayartassociation.org or follow us on Facebook.com/ChesapeakeBayArtAssociation.
