As the sun begins to set, the rotunda in the Barry Arts Building on Monarch Way comes alive with ๐™– ๐™”๐™š๐™ก๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฌ ๐™๐™ค๐™จ๐™š ๐™‹๐™ง๐™ค๐™Ÿ๐™š๐™˜๐™ฉ!
About: “Over one hundred women across the United States were invited to join in a photographic collaboration, A Yellow Rose Project. These photographers were asked to make work in response, reflection, or reaction to the ratification of the 19th Amendment. From inception, the goal of this project was to provide a focal point and platform for image makers to share contemporary viewpoints as we approach the centennial of this event, to gain a deeper understanding of American history and culture, to build a bridge from the past to the present and future.”
On view through November 6, ๐™– ๐™”๐™š๐™ก๐™ก๐™ค๐™ฌ ๐™๐™ค๐™จ๐™š ๐™‹๐™ง๐™ค๐™Ÿ๐™š๐™˜๐™ฉ at Old Dominion University can safely be experienced in the evenings through the large windows of the Barry Arts Building rotunda near the intersection of Monarch Way and 47th street in the #odu arts district. #ayellowroseproject #ayellowroseprojectphotography
