Offsite Gallery Opening Reception “The Street Where I Live”

Join us for the opening of Jean Peacock’s solo exhibition of paintings created during the pandemic.
February 4, 2022, 5-7pm.
Offsite Gallery at MacArthur Center
300 Monticello Ave., Suite 287
Norfolk, VA 23510

With more time to focus on “the familiar, one’s self & the beauty all around us”, Peacock’s focus during the lockdown, became things like her backyard and four-legged companions, “always there by my side.” In times like this, Jean states, “Reading in bed and playing the piano soon become fodder for the artist. Finally, in preparation for this exhibition, I found time for the joy of playing with paint!”

February 26, 12-2pm: Conversation with the Artist

Free & open to the public.
On view through March 18, 2022.
M-Sat., 10am-8pm, Sunday’s 12-6pm.
