re-ligare by John Rudel through November 30th


Influenced by the trichotomy of visual form introduced by Paul Klee in his idiosyncratic Pedagogical Sketchbook, John Rudel creates layers and patterns that force the viewer to leave areas out of focus to identify individual elements. Continual shifts of focus are required to take in other aspects of the paintings creating countless tiny impulse based experiences of visual reconnections over time.

On view through November 30, 2018 Gallery hrs: M-Saturday 8:30am-5:30pm, Sundays see security for entry
