Art has always played an active roll in my life. Through my years I have explored encaustic painting, collage, jewelry making, stained glass and many other mediums. As a high school teacher of thirty-six years, I am daily immersed in creating art ideas for students to explore. Currently, I find photography to be my constant expression. The opportunity to live next to a cotton field in the country supports my investigative photographs of nature.

In addition, adding intense saturation to photographs is part of my digital process. I get great pleasure when I see my art hanging on someone’s wall.
