Established in 2006, Norfolk Arts seeks to create a rich, diverse environment that reflects, celebrates & invites all to experience the arts. We strive to unite, energize, prompt dialogue, & inspire the unique character of Norfolk.

Unrivaled in the region, no other city in Virginia, & few of its size, offer the level of arts & cultural programming Norfolk enjoys.

Norfolk Arts manages the Offsite Gallery. Our physical location at MacArthur Center permanently closed in June 2026. We are currently partnering with Tidewater Community College Visual Arts and Design Center to open two exhibitions in 2026. We hope to move forward with Offsite Gallery programming in a new location at a later time.

The Norfolk Arts Commission establishes evaluation criteria for funding grant requests, artist selections, & fair and open review processes.
