Grants

The Norfolk Commission on the Arts and Humanities awards grants to not-for-profit organizations that benefit the citizens of Norfolk.
We are pleased and grateful that on May 10, 2020 the Norfolk City Council passed the budget for the coming year. It included grant funding for the Norfolk Commission on the Arts and Humanities. As with all other organizations, there was a reduction in funding; it was on par with the reduction all other organizations are sharing.

The Commisson on the Arts and Humanities has selected the grant awardees for fiscal 2020-2021. We are also looking at new partnership opportunities as all the arts and humanities organizations and artists are facing a very challenging year.

Please call Debra Burrell, Arts Manager, at 757-664-4330 or email artscommission@norfolk.gov with any questions.
