Why isn’t an art project featured on this site?
If they do not appear on our site, they are not city-funded projects. Funding may have been provided by private developers, donations or other means. If you are looking for projects in the NEON District that are not city-funded you’ll find them here:
. In most Norfolk cemeteries (Elmwood specifically) you can find sculptures by famous artists. There are several sculptures at the Botanical Garden as well. If you visit the Chrysler Museum you’ll find artwork on the surrounding grounds.

Norfolk Arts seeks to create a rich, diverse, environment that reflects, celebrates and invites all to experience the arts. We seek to give voice to our community and strive to unite, energize, prompt dialogue, and inspire the unique character of Norfolk.
