Offsite Gallery at Tidewater Community College Visual Art and Design Center Gallery – Opening reception: November 5, 2026, 5-7pm

I am a collector of light. I strive for starkness filled with infinite depth. The hands-on process of developing film and making prints, foster a connection between my visions and the noble metal on paper. Through photography, I experience connections flowing back and forth between varied juxtaposed elements. I attempt to capture and hold fast these elements that take the form of oscillating objects yearning for an expansive environment. Within my vision there is an affinity for the natural world. This affinity slowly strengthens over time as the whole creation becomes greater than the sum of its individual parts. We are individually responsible for the preservation of our planet.

I gravitate toward far-reaching skies and intricate landscapes. My desire is to challenge the viewer to reevaluate their presuppositions and feel what it is like to view things from outside. I am building a new reality; a reality that is the viewer’s invitation to introspection. The circle feels complete when coupling analog waves and digital zeros/ones. I struggle to get it right but when I do, it’s for a hundred years.
