“A long time ago I decided that being a Graphic Designer wasn’t enough. My work was missing a soul. At my core I am a fine artist. By returning to my roots in graphite and charcoal I gave myself the freedom to create drawings that pull from the beauty of the African esthetic through portraits, landscapes, and cultural themes, but also give the viewer a sense of balanced design. My work is a combination of the joy of drawing and the freedom in reinterpreting those ideas through design.”
