“I paint to find myself. I like to contradict pillars of society like religion, sexuality, and culture. I think what I’m trying to say with my art is that none of it matters, none of it’s real. I hope my art can free me and free others”

This painting is me trying to find myself in all the boxes society has introduced me to. Homosexual, heterosexual, Christian, Atheist. Its a plea to God to take it all away. But its also a disservice to my freedom because the God i know hates homosexuality.
