Scene at the Selden exhibiting artist 2014

Lynn Hosegood has been on a creative journey for over 30 years. Her medium of choice is watercolor which she uses it in a very painterly manner with high value contrast and intense color.

Lynn graduated with a studio arts degree and worked for several years as an interior decorator. When she returned to her native England for three years she turned her attention to the landscape expressed in miniature form. She was accepted as a member and exhibited with The Hilliard Society, The Society of Limners and she was included in group shows with The Royal Miniature Society and London’s Westminster Gallery and Mall Galleries.

Working from her Williamsburg, Virginia home studio, Lynn now works on paintings for her local print series and large watercolors for regional, national and international juried shows and portraiture. The large watercolor paintings are resourced from her world-wide travels.
