I explore the relationship between women and their environment through painting. Curating both color and subject in order to solicit an emotional response from my audience, and invite into my own internal dialogue.

Flower Lady, Florist

As a florist at Flower Lady I handle the day to day orders which come in over our website, over the phone, or face to face. My job is to clearly communicate our clients requests to our designers in the form of a typed order form. I also rotate in as a floral designer, where my role is to create floral arrangements based on our customers’ requests. Finally, I am the wedding coordinator for the business and work with all of our couples to create the perfect florals for their wedding.

Noah’s Art Studios , Studio Artist Assistant
2022 – 2023

My first role at Noah’s Art Studio’s was as a studio assistant. I did daily cleaning such as washing brushes, organizing paints and craft supplies and general housekeeping. I also assisted with paint nights and art classes. My second was to instruct students from ages 7-13. I developed a week-long curriculum for acrylic painting art.

I am the Co-founder of The Womxn’s Connective, a community outreach organization that specializes in connecting women-identifying artists with their communities.

The Fiber Arts Society Mural
Oct 2024

As a member of the Fiber Arts Society, I contributed crocheted squares to a large fabric mural. I then assisted in installing the project for the 2024 NEON festival in Downtown Norfolk.

Was 1 of 10 artists chosen as a workshop participant by resident artists Flower and Rain Span. I participated in the one-day workshop on career development and professional artwork presentation, partially completing one artwork under their mentorship.

As a CANtemporary with the CAN Foundation I was mentored by CAN Foundation artist Modi Hemadri in career development and artwork presentation. I also Designed and painted a mural in City Center at Oyster Point in Newport News, VA on a building’s outer windows with a group of other artists.
