2021 Offsite Gallery: “Racial Inequality: Crossing The Line from Hope to Despair,” a solo exhibition of abstract acrylic paintings Opening August 27, 2021.

The Franklin-based Lambda Psi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. tours the art exhibition of artist Theresa A. Brown.

Through a series of abstract acrylic paintings, Theresa A. Brown expresses feelings of pain, love, hope and progress for the future related to issues of racial inequality. Representing a step forward for her ancestors and children, a red footprint is incorporated into each painting.

Brown received her BFA in Commercial Art and Design from Virginia State University.
