Trotter Hardy seeks visual harmony with spiritual connections, shared visual terminology, and mutually experienced subjective responses that draw attention to the elegance of ordinary things. His dense imagery creates an urgent sense of captured, fragile beauty.

Trotter received a BA from University of Virginia, an MS from the American University in Washington, DC and ahis JD from Duke University. Trotter’s photographs have been exhibited in Germany, Delaware, Minnesota, and Texas, at the Biggs Museum of American Art, in Delaware and at numerous galleries and museums throughout the region.
