Ioannis Galanopoulos Papavasileiou (aka yiannis galanopoulos) is a Greek interdisciplinary visual artist and university professor. He has participated in numerous solo and group international art exhibitions in UAE, Europe, the USA, Australia and Japan. His work has been acquired by private and public collections. He has a BFA in Photography and Audiovisual, a Master of Arts degree in Humanities and a Master of Fine Arts degree in Visual Studies. He currently holds an assistant professor’s position at the Zayed University teaching a variety of visual art classes. He is also a Ph.D candidate at the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology.
