Jim Gallucci is in the process of creating 3 wrought iron like panels 5ft. tall x 7ft. wide that depict historic iconic Church St. corridor landmarks to include the Booker Pharmacy, the Dunbar Movie Show, and the Plaza Hotel. Each panel will be framed with 2”x4” stainless steel tubing. Gallucci, a nationally recognized artist, creates works for public, corporate, and residential spaces across the U.S., often using painted steel and architectural forms to explore themes of passage and connection, including notable pieces made from salvaged steel from the World Trade Center. Jim recently created and installed “Moon Gate” for Fire Station #11 in Norfolk, VA.
