Aimee Bruce

Aimee Bruce was born in Portsmouth, VA. She received her BFA with a concentration in drawing and design at Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA in 2016. Bruce was part of the group exhibition 0.45 with her series Relevant Idols at Baron & Ellin Gordon Art Gallery, Norfolk, VA in 2016. Within that same year, she had completed her first mural “Community Responders” for Norfolk Arts.

Aimee continues to create public art in Hampton Roads to include Mt. Trashmore Park in Virginia Beach, the Virginia Beach Oceanfront and VIBE District. Aimee has also created numerous murals in the NEON District in Norfolk, VA.
