“Rhythm of the Stage” 2026 Gallery at the Attucks featured artist

  • The incomparable Erykah Badu during a breathtaking performance from her album Mama's Gun. At the end of one song The lights shifted, instinctively I caught this only to be greeted by a perfect moment. Erykah silhouetted and the crowd literally giving the love back. Medium: Archival Print

  • In some forms of photography the one behind the lens is at the mercy of the moment. As the lights fell in the Attucks Anthony Hervey's trumpet ignited everyone in the room. I slowed the shutter and dragged it horizontally to capture even a fraction of the sonic landscape.
