Trevor Lucas of Anomaly Art Studios showcased the depth and creativity of Norfolk’s art community in the Park Place Community near 35th Street and Colley Ave. with a mural painting completed October 14, 2023.

Pictured is the original proposed image which was submitted as part of a multi-disciplinary event that was to take place as part of a mural event however, due to scheduling conflicts with previously planned events, the mural itself was the soul focus of the project Lucas appropriately titled “The Soul of Norfolk”.

Together with the community, the below design was created and was painted by Lucas. Special thank you to Party Rentals of Virginia for preparing their building for painting and allowing us to transform their space!
