Norfolk Arts grantee, Boys Choir of Hampton Roads is now auditioning (grades 7 – College) for their Fall season beginning September 5, 5-6pm.

Yvette Shephard and Steven Kolb wrote and received a grant in September 1997 to organize a boys choir in the Park Place area of Norfolk as a resource for boys to expand their positive image through singing. They, then, approached Mrs. Geraldine T. Boone to organize the group. It became so popular and admired that request to join came from across the city, Thus, subsequently the name was changed to The Boys Choir of Hampton Roads.
