In 2021 Norfolk Arts will install a kinetic sculpture in Bay Oaks Park. The sculpture will reflect the strength and resiliency of the Ocean View community and inspire passerby’s to stop and enjoy the park. The project will compliment natural elements already in existence such as the many Live Oak trees seen in the videos below.
Ride Art Studio met virtually with committee members in April to tour the park from their studio in Berkeley, CA. Jonathan and Saori Russell are now in the design process and will present sketches to the committee in the coming months. Read more about the artists and the project here.
