We recently had the opportunity to welcome the 7 public artists the City has commissioned to create public art as part of the St. Paul’s Cultural Trail during a Community Art Party at Origin Circle at Kindred. The City of Norfolk welcomed residents for an afternoon of creativity and connection to help shape the future of public art at Kindred. Poetry Jackson, Volkan Alkanglou, Wesley Clark, Jim Gallucci, Zachary Robinson and Blessing Hancock rose to the top via an online resident voting poll and are now in the process of creating their designs which will be presented to the community for approval in the coming months. After designs are approved, the artists will begin creating their projects to install in 2027/28.

Connect with the St. Paul’s Area Facebook page for updates or check our Work in Progress page here.
