Join us as we welcome local photographer Glen McClure for his solo exhibition at our Offsite Gallery at MacArthur Center.

Glen McClure approaches the world with boundless curiosity, captivated by unexpected patterns and vibrant hues that emerge in unexpected places. From the asphalt of a crowded parking lot to an Irish coastal cliff, he seeks to record intriguing moments found in both ordinary and remote places.

When something catches his eye, McClure works swiftly to capture the scene. Later, in the digital darkroom, he carefully interprets each image-spending a significant amount of time enhancing every texture, form, line and detail. McClure then creates final prints, which are all made in his studio to exacting standards.

Urban Color is a curated collection of some of Glen McClure’s most recent memorable discoveries drawn from explorations throughout Norfolk, Virginia and well beyond.
