The Magical Properties of Creating Art

All Hands Pottery Studio·Friday, August 24, 2018·
Angela Tilley got her start in clay in 2011 after a deployment to Iraq. When she returned to the United States, she vowed to never be that unhappy again, and the way she would solve that was when she said or though the words “I’ve always wanted to try that,” it became a promise not a wish. She saw someone throwing clay at the wheel, and within weeks was enrolled in her first class. That action changed the trajectory of her life. Once she experienced the magic healing that participating in the artistic project can bring, she decided that one day she would create a place where that magic would be open and welcoming to all people, of all ability and experience. This studio is the result of a long journey, and we hope that we can share the magic with as many people as possible.
