Art demonstration and conversation with Rowena Federico Finn

Join us for an artist demonstration and conversation with Offsite Gallery exhibiting artist, Rowena Federico Finn.

Finn will demonstrate techniques she used to combine indigenous Filipino materials in her “Foreign Bodies” series such as piña cloth, sinamay, and capiz shells. By combining art materials she has used for decades, she expresses her experiences as a Filipina-American, caught between two different worlds, unearthing the generational scars of colonization and assimilation.

All ages welcome. Free and open to the public. Stop in any time.
