“Fiber Friends” by Ryan Lytle and Kristin Skees

Join us as we welcome local artists Ryan Lytle and Kristin Skees for their collaborative exhibition at our Offsite Gallery at MacArthur Center.

Working as colleagues for years, Kristin Skees & Ryan Lytle have taken the opportunity to develop a new body of collaborative work. Their shared love of fiber, bold color & exploration of identity forms a foundation for new playful & experimental self-portraits.

Kristin Skees received a M.L.I.S. from the University of Alabama, & a M.F.A & B.F.A. in Studio Art from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Kristin is currently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Fine Art & History at Christopher Newport University.

Ryan Lytle received a M.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art & a B.A. in Studio Art from Christopher Newport University.
