Time: 8 am – 5 pm
Cost: $150/person
Shark City Summer Camp is open to the public and is available for ages 5-18, no matter the skill level. Our sessions will be taught by professional teachers and band directors who will focus on the fundamentals of percussion. This camp will mark the beginning of our new season and new members are always accepted. Last year we were able to host 108 participants, and this year we expect it to be even bigger. D’ART CENTER
Pottery Camp invites campers to explore the fundamentals of ceramics while combining ART with STEM! There is a different theme every week, allowing endless opportunities to create and explore their imagination. Pottery Camp follows the same themes and times as our STEAM Summer Camp, but is separate from STEAM. Campers cannot be enrolled in STEAM and Pottery Camp for the same week(s).

STEAM Summer Camp features activities such as clay, mixed media, technology and digital art, and art on the move. Students will learn from professional art educators, work collaboratively, enjoy short field trips, watch Resident Artists’ demos, and create unique art projects using a variety of media and techniques.

ENROLLMENT FEE FOR NEW STUDENTS NOT REGISTERED FOR CLASSES IS $25.
No experience is necessary! This is an opportunity for young people to learn all about theatre with hands on activities and workshop style instruction. Campers will participate in Musical Theatre classes including Broadway Dance and Voice, Stage Acting, and Beyond the Stage Theater 101.
**There is an optional field trip offered on the first Friday of each camp and the last Friday is the Camp Performance Day!**
Camp is held at the Hurrah building in downtown Norfolk. Located across from Chrysler Hall on the corner of St. Paul’s Blvd & Charlotte St. There are several local city parking garages within short walking distance. The performance day is held in our theater in the NEON District at 112 W. Wilson Ave.
