A beautiful Saturday in Ocean View Beach Park welcomed us, as we gathered together with the community, for the dedication of our newest sculpture, “Chryshellis” by Eileen Gay.

Thank you to our special guest, Mayor Kenneth Cooper Alexander who was joined by Norfolk Arts Commissioner, Barbara Laws and project partner, Coastal VA Plein Air.
Enjoy these highlights of the day. Be sure to stop by the park and #ShareNorfolkArt. We appreciate everyone who was able to join us. Eileen is especially thankful for the extra hands during unpacking and installation.

You’ll find many surprise hidden elements in “Chryshellis” to include glow in the dark tiles and inspiring words selected by the Ocean View public art committee inscribed onto stones throughout.
