We have learned the unique desires of each organization and discovered a variety of ways to support one another. We look forward to ongoing relationships that will enhance goals and initiatives and reach our local community through unique arts and culture offerings and events.
Our time together has resulted in 8 FREE and open to the public performances being planned at the Historic Attucks Theatre in Downtown Norfolk. Our 1st event is scheduled for May 19, 5pm with Studio 360 Performing Arts and The Boys Choir of Hampton Roads joining together to perform.
Norfolk Arts and cultural organizations embrace the goals of diversity, equity, and inclusion, knowing that the arts can be the perfect catalyst for understanding and celebrating cultural differences. Polyphonic Culture is the simultaneous combination of voices using the arts to create genuine inclusion.
The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) is pleased to announce more than $103 million in recommended grants in the second major grant announcement of fiscal year 2023. Organizations in all 50 states and U.S. jurisdictions have been carrying out arts projects in three NEA funding categories: Grants for Arts Projects, Our Town, and State and Regional Partnerships.
