Join the Virginia Chorale for Sing We Nowell – a beloved December tradition in Hampton Roads. The peace of the season is captured in the Chorale’s first performances of A Winter Breviary by Indian-American composer Reena Esmail, and The Quiet Heart by June Collin. Familiar carols and holiday selections round out this intimate concert. We look forward to celebrating the holiday season with you!
The Virginia Chorale is the Commonwealth’s premier professional choral ensemble. Founded forty-one years ago, the ensemble has grown from a community-based early music chorus to today’s dynamic group of professional singers, performing repertoire ranging from the Middle Ages to the music of today.

Based on the beloved popular children’s book by Barbara Robinson, THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER is the funny, heartwarming, and mildly irreverent story of what happens when a church play is hijacked by six of the ‘absolutely worst kids in the history of the world’. A holiday tradition, this event is presented with Happy Hanukkah, My Friend; a short program celebrating the Festival of Lights.
