Save the date February 26, 12-2pm, for “Conversation with the Artist”. The events and gallery are free and open to the public. Watch for her artwork coming to a billboard near you in 2022.
Through a series of oil paintings created during the pandemic lockdown, Jean Peacock expresses the joy and love of places lived, and people and things most cherished. Having the freedom to mix colors on her palette with time at a standstill, made way for the discovery of new methods of bringing the canvas to life. With her four-legged companions faithfully by her side, now, more than ever, she discovered contentment in areas of home often taken for granted. A seat at the piano and books on the nightstand were viewed with delight. The backyard soon became her retreat. The Street Where I Live, is a lively portrayal of the beauty that’s all around us, if we just slow down and look.
