The Five Points Park Project Planning Committee and the Norfolk Arts Commission has selected artist Sean Orlando of Engineered Artworks LLC. to create a 15’x23′ interactive stainless-steel public art installation that simulates growing grass blades for the new park coming in 2023 to the corner of Norview Ave. and Sewells Point Rd. in the Norview neighborhood in Norfolk, VA.

The sculpture will form an open canopy over the pathway at the southeast entrance to the park. Interior blades will be highly-polished to create a reflective quality that mirrors objects as they pass by. Lighting will provide visibility from the street at night.
