We recently hired local artist Danetta Evans to create a 2nd Asphalt Art design as part of a grant we received together with the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast Virginia from Bloomberg Philanthropies.

We couldn’t make this project happen without the help of our community! The artist has prepared a portion of the mural to be painted by volunteers of all skill levels. All materials will be provided.

Painting dates are scheduled for June 16-18. If you are interested in helping create the Tidewater Gardens Asphalt Art Project:

Release forms will also be available at the park, however, we encourage you to bring completed forms with you if possible. There is no age limit to participate, all are welcome.
