Sean Orlando of Engineered Artworks, in Richmond, CA, has been busy making progress on the 15โร23โฒ stainless-steel public art installation he is creating for the corner of Norview Ave. and Sewells Point Rd. in #norfolkva.
The interactive sculpture simulates growing grass and will form an open canopy over the pathway at the southeast entrance to the park.
Highly-polished interior blades will take on a reflective quality and mirror objects as they pass by. Lighting will provide visibility from the street at night.
The project is scheduled to be completed in early 2024.
