Hanna Kirby Price List

Enjoy this Interview with Hanna Kirby

“Blue Musings” is a study of nature. Each piece is a practice in artistic mindfulness, of living in the moment of creation. Using the historical process of cyanotype & collage, Hanna Kirby has created unique compositions of found florals & historical photographs that touch on the themes of motherhood, family, & the duality of the intense love & intense sadness of postpartum depression.

Kirby is a Virginia Commonwealth University alum who has created public art murals in Virginia Beach & Norfolk, VA. Kirby is the Director of Operations & Communications for the Hunter House Victorian Museum in Norfolk, VA.

During the opening reception, the community is invited to participate in collaborative origami. Kirby will lead guests in the creation of origami butterflies made from cyanotypes on vintage paper that will be assembled upon the wall.

“Blue Musings” will be on view through April 28, 2023.
Gallery hours: Monday-Saturday, 10am-8pm, & Sunday’s 12-6pm.
Free & open to the public.
