Norfolk Arts seeks artist(s) or organizations to partner with to engage communities through personal connections to create significant performances, music, art installations, videos, publications, etc.
A $15,000 budget is available. We may hire 3 artists at $5,000 depending on the ideas that are presented. Contact Karen Rudd to discuss the possibility of something you have in mind at 757.284.8445 or just submit your idea by June 12 to publicart@norfolk.gov in the form of a PDF/JPEG or video that is easy to open. Keep in mind that images/video will be presented to a committee in the form of a PowerPoint presentation so think of how it will best translate when enlarged on a screen.
